The Origami Project has a great blog entry written by one of the staff, Emily. She talks about taking a UMPC device with her on trip to Europe. I know I'm going to be paying close attention to how she uses her UMPC and how it comes in handy for her while she's on the road.
Already she's mentioned how nice it was to get the pictures off of her camera and store them on her UMPC device. Nothing like having a tiny, little 128MB memory card for your camera and being able to dump everything onto your UMPC and get back into the action. And what makes the UMPC better than a laptop for on-the-road photo storage is that it's a great format for sharing your photos with your friends. UMPCs have built-in controls for slide-shows and being able to hold it in one hand makes it really easy to give someone a look.
