OQO model 02 the definition of "ultra-mobile"

Neil Balthaser has finally posted part one in a series of five articles reviewing the OQO model 02. He's just upgraded from a Samsung Q1P and has a lot of things to say about this new UMPC.

The OQO model 02 is quite compact and small. It is less than half the size of my Samsung Q1 P and weighs about 50% less. This means the unit can be picked up as quickly as a mobile phone as you're heading out of the house. The OQO's size is one of the main reasons why I purchased the unit and I'm happy to say I'm actually carrying it around with me almost everywhere I go.

This first article primarily talks about the form factor: dimension, volume, construction quality, and screen. It's interesting to read Neil's comments about UMPCs because he's a pen-based computing enthusiast and also very much into the user experiences as they relate to interfaces.
