This PCMCIA card seems like just the perfect way to dock your UMPC at home. It lets you use a USB cable take control of all of your desktops peripherals. Want to use your big monitor but don't want to mess with the cabling you've already set up for your desktop? This is the answer. Check out the video, it seems too simple to believe. Has anyone out there got their hands on the USB Duet EZ-Dock and give it a proper run through?

The number of UMPCs with PCMCIA is pretty miniscule. When you consider that the industry is moving towards ExpressCard, I'm not sure why they think this is going to be a viable product in the marketplace.
Anyways, we need better UMPC docks, not awkward solutions like this. Give me a dock with USB, Firewire, DVI-HDCP/HDMI, and gigabit ethernet!

The USB Duet EZ-Dock is just one application of the USB client port on the UMPC... This client port can also allow your UMPC to easily share files through mass storage protocol... check out this 2nd application called USB Duet HD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx1hCC5ka_k
ExpressCard form factor is also available for the USB Duet Technology.
