This is an amazing story, CTitanic, a UMPC blogger, was using his UMPC to check in on an alert from some new security cameras when he found two thieves breaking in. He called the police and the would-be thieves were swiftly apprehended due to an alert CTitanic and his trusty UMPC.
Apparently CTitanic was on his way to the grocery store when he got an e-mail indicating some activity. He pulled over to the side of the road, fired up his trusty UMPC, looked in on the webcams and saw the crooks. A quick call to the security guards on-site and another to the police and CTitanic settled down to watch the action unfold. The crooks entered the building, looked around and then left, shortly afterwards they re-entered the building carrying backpacks. The police came in the door guns drawn and tracked down the robbers. At the end of the video, we can see the robbers in handcuffs being escorted away from the building by the police. After all of the drama, CTitanic never had to go near the building and he was able to continue on his trip to the grocery store, thanks to the mobility of the UMPC.
*I spotted this story on GBM.
