I just read that meebo has added file transfers to their latest release. This is awesome news for mobile people because now you can send files from your mobile device without having to have your messenger software installed. You can even receive files if the other party is also using meebo.

Now for the other bit of news, I use meebo at work to keep in touch with lots of other UMPC bloggers and I've just added a new feature to the UML site, to let you talk with me. Over on the menu I've added an item called >Chat with a UMPC expert and as long as I'm at work or online elsewhere you can talk with me about UMPCs. Please go easy on me though.
