OQO's CEO has a blog

OQO's new CEO has a blog and I am going to keep my eye on it. So far he's been highlighting a lot of happy OQO users out there. I don't think he's having any trouble finding people that are happy with their model 02s and model e2s. I like this quote personally:

I've just come back from holiday to Crete and the OQO 02 was fantastic. Whilst sitting on the balcony in the shade I typed almost 18,000 words towards a novel I'm writing. No thumb ache either.

I'm going to be keeping an eye on this blog, it's definitely a good place to keep up on what OQO is doing. If you've got an OQO, you should check out the OQO Owners network I started up on Ning or if you want the OQO forums that have been around since the model 01, check out OQO Talk.

Bjorn --

Thanks for the kind words - I'll be following your blog (and the OQO customer forums) very closely! Feel free to contribute your OQO story to my "gallery" ...

Dennis Moore, I really hope your actually read your forums. I love the OQO technology but because of the poor form factor will not buy one. Read my post on the general OQO forum. I believe if OQO took my suggestion of creating a device that is basically the current OQO but throw away the current keyboard and copy the old Psion layout, then your computers would sell like hot cakes. Everyone I meet in business including myself wants the same, a basic computer with a TOUCH TYPE Keyboard, that fits in a jacket pocket and runs on a standard desktop OS. A simple change to your OQO and you would double your sales at a minimum!

As I mentioned on OQOTalk, keyboard design is something we take very seriously at OQO. People have very different concepts of what kind of keyboard they like, as you saw on OQOTalk.com in response to your posting. We are listening (and reading), but we have a different opinion on this topic. Thanks for giving us more insight into a market segment with which we are not yet connecting!

PS - I don't get any alert to comments here, but I read OQOtalk.com religiously, so please post additional comments on this topic there. Thanks!
