Samsung SPH-P9200 UMPC

Chippy over on UMPC Portal has dug up a link to the user manual for Samsung's SPH-P9200 UMPC which confirms their suspicions that this new UMPC is based on the VIA Ultra Mobility Platform. Some really nice specifications on this device: with a VIA C7-M processor, WiFi, WiBro, and HSDPA for connectivity and a folding keyboard that looks very touch-typing friendly. You may recall this video from GITEX 2007 from last month, and with the manual release it looks like this device is getting closer and closer to production. I'm personally very excited about the SPH-P9200 as I think the form factor is going to be very usable and I'm very much intrigued by the controls on the back of the keyboard.

I agree finally a UMPC that is not a mere toy but a practical computer that you can type on. What a concept, it only took over a year to realize that a pen input won't sell to the mass population?

Sign me up, I'm ready to buy one just tell us where to go Ultrambile life.

I expect to see more details about price, release dates, and distribution at CES in January.

I am in California and would love to buy one. Bjorn, I hope you can post some information about how to purchase one in the US. That is one cool and functional UMPC. :)
