Future Ultra Mobile Device

Yesterday we held a little event unveiling a little device called the MTube. Today I received this picture of the mysterious little device in my mailbox. I've been promised more details later, but I thought I'd let this image out to whet your appetites for new ultra mobile devices. I believe this is one of the first devices to use our new VIA Mobile-ITX form factor. There was some coverage on a Taiwanese website you can check it out here (if you read Chinese). And stay tuned for more in-depth coverage!

What's an ultra mobile device?

An ultra mobile device is generally smaller than a laptop, though may use similar laptop parts and functions. While a standard laptop battery would not fit the small frame of a UMPC, some external devices can probably be shared, like a laptop keyboard or storage device.

From videos I saw, it looks like it runs Ubuntu. I wonder how hard it would be to load Fedora on there instead :p.
