It seems like every day I read a comment on a blog saying something like: "UMPCs are too expensive", "battery life sucks", "UMPCs are too slow", "UMPCs should have keyboards", etc. I think it's great that everyone is expressing their opinion and trying to help UMPCs become the devices that we want them to be. Now here is a great opportunity to express your opinion in a way that is guaranteed to be heard by one of the major players in the UMPC space. Microsoft's Origami Project site is running a survey to gather data on UMPC usage and perception. Please take some time to go over there and give them your opinions about UMPCs. The more we communicate with Microsoft about what we want the UMPC to be, the better UMPCs will be. If they get enough feedback from everyone maybe they can adjust their UMPC strategy and shift some priorities around.
