I just saw this review of the Gigabyte U60 UMPC over at Tweaktown and they had a lot of positive things to say about the device. Their monster seven part review pores over every detail of the U60 and they even put it through a battery life test, the results are quite impressive:
After letting it run for 45 minutes, you can see that there is a steady and consistent discharge rate, and based on the above graph the battery would most likely be completely flat after about two hours running at FULL load. This however rarely happens and so the U60 UMPC device should give you roughly 4 hrs uptime without needing a charge.
But the best part of the review comes at the end where they award the Gigabyte U60 the Tweaktown "BEST VALUE!" award. They thought that at $899 Gigabyte U60 owners were getting a really great deal on a very usable UMPC. Take a look at the full review for all the juice details.

I have one. It is indeed faster than my old Sony 800Mhz laptop. Love the touch pad and left sided mouse buttons. Only gripe is when you have to stick the external LCD VGA cable on the bottom. It is hard to give a presentation with the VGA cable on the bottom of the unit adding to it's instability on the table. I bought a portable DVD bag to carry it around since it does not come with a bag of it's own. Very good at powerpoint and MS Office which is very important for me. Not recommended for kids who like video games. Not enough muscle. Basically a working man's friend. Four stars for me. Would give it a Five it were not for the VGA cable location.

Yes I am carrying one currently, it is not slow but only perfect for MS Office usage. The battery life could be more rather than the average of 3 hours with wi-fi on.
