UMPCPortal member 2800GT caught a change on Packard Bell's UK website, the change? Packard Bell has finally posted a price for the EasyNote XS: £349 including VAT. Don't believe me? Check the Packard Bell website for yourself. I know that the UK always seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to electronics prices so I was really impressed with this price. I did a quick conversion into Euros which came out to a very cool 499€, which is 100€ cheaper than the 599€ price that Chippy posted earlier.
Since they've announced the price you should look to be able to pre-order the Packard Bell EasyNote XS soon. I'll definitely be pre-ordering one, I can't wait to get my hands on the final production version.

Hi Bjorn
Do you have the information that when can we grab one in Taiwan?
Thanks!

Packard Bell won't be distributing them in Taiwan, although you may be able to order one from an online distributor like Dynamism.
If sales go well in Europe, I think it may be possible that a Taiwanese OEM will pick up the VIA NanoBook reference design to sell locally if they believe the market is big enough.

nice little device but....
whoever decided to put the touchpad above the keyboard, needs to get....
:upset
i guess thats one of the biggest design mistakes in terms of usability i've ever faced in pc history (well maybe the keyboard of the sinclair zx81 was worse :grin )
so please ship out your reference design asap!
