Everex CloudBook and Box

It wasn't just a minor version tweak that delayed the CloudBook's launch to February 15th, it was a total replacement of the Windows Manager (GUI) of gOS. According to ZaReason, one of the companies selling Everex CloudBooks, they had reached the limit with Enlightenment and needed more flexibility so they decided to switch to GNOME. The good news is that, as of February 12th, they said, "Everything is on schedule for the Friday ship." Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and the day after is CloudBook Day, I've got them both marked on my calendar, how about you?

Mobile computing excitement

Mobile computers like the CloudBook are a new technology that many people are just learning about. Many mobile computers come with a touch screen monitor, while others may be equipped with other business products like symbol scanners. Either way, these mobile PCs are an exciting phenomenon.

I hope the Wal Mart near my house will be getting some. Might just take the plunge and get one...of course with my luck Everex will put out a model with Isaiah (sp?) in it and I will have wasted my moola.
