I just read that Innowell showed their UREN at CES and no one involved in UMPCs knew! I wish our communications were a little better. This is good news, it means that Innowell should be bringing the UREN to the US and possibly Europe sometime soon.

The guys from engadget tracked me down at the Showstoppers event and gave me an opportunity to talk about the Medion UMPC that was launched at CES. The Medion UMPC and the OQO model 02 were the big hits this year grabbing a ton of attention. Here's a quick little interview about the Medion UMPC.

I did get my hands on an OQO briefly. Just long enough to introduce it in an interview at the Lunch @ Piero's event that runs during CES.

I've been spending a bit of time with some of the folks from OQO. They're really popular down here in Las Vegas. They're having a big party tonight, I hope I can go and win a model 02 for myself. Here's a copy of their official video, you can watch the original on their site in better resolution.
