VIDEO - Chippy Interviews OQO's Martin Day

UMPCPortal's Steve "Chippy" Paine caught Martin Day at a UMPC Shop in Rotterdam and managed to get an interview with him. Some interesting bits of information in this video: Martin is currently the only one over in OQO's Europe branch, but from the sound of it he'll be needing some coworkers to keep up with the demand for the model e2. Also of note is that OQO is working hard on getting HSDPA into their UMPCs and although Martin couldn't give a date, I'd expect it to be available in 2008. I'm really enjoying using my OQO model 02 with my USB HSDPA modem. I'm getting really great speeds here in Taiwan at over 900kbps down and 100kbps it's as fast as my DSL connection at home. To get HSDPA built-in to my model 02 would be awesome, I can't wait!

HSDPA would be a great feature but I think OQO would really take off if they made a version with a touch type keyboard.
