Chippy does another video with the WiBrain B1, this time around he goes through what it's like to operate this UMPC. He shows off how impressive this UMPC is when going into and coming out of standby. In just two or three seconds it's in standby and you can pop it in your bag and two or three seconds to come out of standby and be ready to use. Once you start getting into the habit of putting your UMPC into standby you'll appreciate just how much more battery life you will get and how well designed these new devices are. When I was working with my desktops a few years ago I used to dread accidentally hitting the power button and putting it into standby because the PC just wouldn't come out of standby. I'd have to unplug the machine and boot it up fresh again. We've come a long ways in the land of windows and ACPI specifications. Have a look at the WiBrain B1, it's really a great value UMPC at only $699.
