Rob Bushway from GottaBeMobile has gotten his hands on one of the upgraded OQO model 02's, the one with the 1.6GHz VIA C7-M CPU and the 32GB SSD. Since Rob has already got a model 02 with a traditional hard drive, he set them up side by side for a good old-fashioned face off. The SSD newcomer really outshines the 4200rpm traditional hard-drive in so many ways, primarily in speed and battery life. Rob couldn't get Battery-Eater to successfully give a report, but from his own experiences he's getting anywhere between 30 minutes to a full hour more from the SSD version. Very impressive indeed.

This is a two round fight, so hit read more for the second half and the exciting conclusion.
