VIA's Richard Brown has released another video about the VIA NanoBook. This time, he continues talking along the Beat theme while on California's Big Sur coastline. Richard envisions the NanoBook as the tool of choice for a whole new Beat generation, the bloggers & vloggers, the startups & mobile entrepreneurs. With it's long battery life and full size keyboard the NanoBook gives you the freedom to seek out new places where your creativity can run wild.

Argh! What fatuous advertising twaddle! Kerouac turns in his grave.

I'm not really digging the Beat Generation themes of Brown's videos, but I like the looks of the product that he's selling. With the projected price point and it's size, it would be perfect for me to haul around for school uses.

Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over
tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the
color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgundy red, the
fields the color of love and
Spanish mysteries. :grin

I love Big Sur and all the unpolluted parts of this incredible planet. And when I go out there to immerse myself in purity, this Nanobook is definitely the laptop I want to take with me - plus a foldable solar panel!

Excellent reference to the Beat Generation!
We are really on the road. The new generation of
mobile people, capturing their conscious streams
in the blogging wilderness. Hitchhiking has never
been easier.
For those who fail to dig it, just keep on watching the
video again until you hear a distinct click from the
depths of your brain. Or ask Google - your only friend
until the end - for decent advice on the Beat
Generation.

So, um...Mr. Brown, when can I buy a NanoBook?
For all your talk about marketing at the end of the video, I'm still waiting for the actual...product.
The Eee PC seems to have been delayed until late September or even October. School starts at the end of August. That puts you in a most enviable position, provided you can actually get your product onto store shelves. I want.

Why Mr.Brown is using only two fingers while typing? Is the keyboard so extremely unusable?? :sigh
