It looks like the eeePC is really driving interest in the UMPC form factor. This video from MoDaCo shows Paul unboxing the UBiQUiO 711 UMPC which is based on the AMtek T770. At the beginning of the video he says that he's got an eeePC and wants something with more power and a hard drive so he is going to try out this UMPC from UBiQUiO. Check it out and see if you think it could be a good alternative.
